Hi! I’m Hannah, the gal behind the quilts that make up Honey Fibers.

I grew up surrounded by quilts made by my great- and great-great grandmothers, and started my own quilting practice during the summer of 2020. 

Honey Fibers is a creative practice with a focus on heirloom quality quilts made with traditional methods of hand quilting, and constructed with high quality natural fibers, sometimes hand dyed with plant derived color.

I love creating functional art that can be both admired and physically loved and used. My favorite part about hand stitching quilts is the beautiful texture that the stitches create, especially when using linen fabric. It is a classic look and feel that can’t be replicated with a quilting machine. I pour all of my love into every piece I make, and I hope you love them just as much as I do!
